Befriended by a marine aquarist (J.T.’s ‘Curly haired friend’), this is the story about the travels of a friendly and kind bear named J.T. J.T. Bear is not an ordinary bear, he is very well traveled and very wise! He loves nothing better than to listen to the life stories of the marine creatures he meets and he loves learning about how they all play a different role in the Eco-system. One of his greatest challenges is to get passed the ‘nick’ names that they are commonly referred to as he attempts to pronounce the scientific names such as “Hippo-cam-pus ab-dom-in-a-lis” (seahorse). 

J.T. Bear enjoys learning about culture and likes to understand how and why we are all different. J.T. dines with his friends and gains an understanding of the variety of plankton and food that his friends eat.

His first adventure sees him meet up with Cecil the Seahorse where we see the beginning of what will be a long standing friendship. Future adventures will reveal how much of a true and great friend J.T. is as he comes to the rescue of many a sea creature as they battle daily encounters with dangers imposed on them by humans e.g oil spills, plastic bags, fish hooks etc.
