Befriended by a water baby (J.T.’s ‘Curly haired friend’), this is the story about the travels of a friendly and kind bear named J.T. Now, J.T. Bear is no ordinary bear, he is very well traveled and very wise! He loves nothing better than to listen to the life stories of the marine creatures he meets and he loves learning about how they all play a different role in the oceans’ eco-system. One of his greatest challenges is to pronounce the scientific names of the friends that he meets such as “Hippo-cam-pus  ab-dom-in-a-lis” (pot bellied seahorse). 

J.T. Bear enjoys learning about culture and likes to understand how and why we are all different. J.T. dines with his friends and gains an understanding of the variety of plankton and food that his friends eat.

His first adventure sees him meet up with Cecil the Seahorse where we see the beginning of what will be a long standing friendship. Future adventures will reveal how much of a true and great friend J.T. is as he comes to the rescue of many a sea creature as they battle daily encounters with dangers imposed on them by humans e.g oil spills, plastic bags, fish hooks etc.

Future books will see the introduction of: Megsy the Muscle, Cam the Cuttlefish, Sophie the Sponge, Bozza the Blue Whale, Bob the blue-ringed octopus, Paulie the Toadfish, Arnie the Abalone, Dan the Decopod, Jenny the Jellyfish and many more.
